Better Brockton was founded by two parents who relocated from Boston to Brockton with a shared vision: to raise their children in a community that provides the same quality of outdoor spaces, educational opportunities, and creative outlets they had once experienced. Upon settling in Brockton, they quickly recognized the disparities in community resources and youth engagement opportunities. Rather than wait for change, they took action—creating BetterBrockton.org as a resource hub for families, educators, organizers, and community leaders.

Our platform serves as a catalyst to empower families and uplift neighborhoods by highlighting the needs, assets, and opportunities that exist throughout the city of Brockton.

Brockton is a city with untapped potential—a community rich in culture, resilience, and talent. With the right tools and collective effort, we believe we can build a Better Brockton together.
